Brandit CWU jacket, the model in the '50s came to replace the earlier pilot jackets produced in leather. What made the CWU jacket became standard was that the use of synthetic materials became more common. The idea of the jacket is that the model should be functional, flexible and keep you warm in milder temperatures. Brandit CWU 45 / P Pilot jacket is ideal for those seeking durable construction, warmth and authenticity. CWU 45 / P Pilot jacket features a water repellent nylon outer shell, paired with two layers of quilted nylon / polyester from. The knit cuffs, waistband and zipper closure with storm flap, which ensures that you will keep you warm and dry. CWU 45 / P flight jacket is still issued to USAF and Navy pilots today.
